What are the basics of Reddit?

Reddit is a social news and entertainment website where users can submit content such as text posts or direct links. In order to submit content to Reddit, users need to create an account. Accounts that are created by bots or That are multiple months old and have not been used for extended periods of time may be considered “dead” and removed at the Moderators’ discretion. Once an account is created, users can submit content to any subreddit by clicking the “submit” button on that subreddit’s page.
